The Muhlenberg women's soccer team earned a point in its final scheduled road game of the season, playing Bryn Mawr to a scoreless draw.
The Mules (5-9-3, 2-5-2), who close up the regular season at home against Dickinson on Saturday, have earned eight points in the Centennial Conference standings in their last five games and are still mathematically alive for a playoff berth. They would need a win against the regionally ranked Red Devils and other favorable results to land in the CC playoffs for the first time since 2014.
Muhlenberg took 23 shots - its most in a game since 2019 - and narrowly missed a couple of goals when freshman
Kaylie Thran hit the crossbar in the first half and freshman
Madelyn Hill knocked one off the post in the second half. The Mules pushed heavily for a goal in the final five minutes, earning three consecutive corner kicks, but they were unable to put the ball in.
At the other end, senior
Dani Klingener made four saves for her fourth shutout of the season. The Owls (5-11-1, 0-8-1) made a bid to score off their lone corner kick with about 25 minutes to go, but freshman
Delia Laverty (pictured above) headed a shot off the line at the post, and Klingener saved the follow-up shot.
