Baseball Honors Seniors

The Muhlenberg baseball team honored its seniors before its final home doubleheader of the season.

Pictured above, left to right, with their families are Drew Walker, a student assistant coach, and players Nick Stannard, Ryan Friesen, Ryan Riccio, Andrew DeLucia, Joe Mattes, Jake Braet, Sam Kelstein, Jonathan Toth, Nick Belli, Nick Whelan and Jack Kent.

The Mules had a tough assignment for Senior Day in nationally ranked Johns Hopkins, the 2023 Division III runner-up. The Blue Jays scored in all but two turns at bat in sweeping, 15-0 and 19-2.

Riccio accounted for Muhlenberg's first run of the day with his second home run of the season in the third inning of the nightcap. Toth scored the second run after hitting a double in the seventh.
