The Muhlenberg women's soccer team tied Gettysburg, 1-1, to earn its first Centennial Conference point of the season.
The Mules scored the first goal of the game off a Bullet goal kick in the 13th minute. The Gettysburg goalie played a short ball out wide, and when her teammate tried to make a pass into the middle, junior
Anna May picked it off at the top of the box and took a right-footed shot that deflected off a Bullet and into the back of the net. It was the fourth career goal for May
(pictured above).
Muhlenberg held onto the lead for about 50 minutes, until Gettysburg netted the tying goal with just under 27 minutes remaining.
Sophomore
Megan Stairs preserved the tie by making 11 saves, including two in the final five minutes.
