After scoring 27 runs in its previous two games, the Muhlenberg baseball had its bats silenced in a 6-0 home loss to Haverford.

The Mules (13-19-1, 6-6) had no hits until sophomore Aidan Legner hit a clean single in the hole between short and third with one out in the bottom of the eighth. The next two batters followed with infield hits, but the Fords (16-16, 6-6) turned an inning-ending double play to keep Muhlenberg off the board.

The loss spoiled an outstanding effort on the mound by sophomore Jayden Barroqueiro (pictured above), who allowed only two runs andd two hits in his seven innings of work.

With six games to play in the regular season, the Mules are tied for fourth place in the Centennial Conference with Haverford, Swarthmore and Ursinus. Five teams qualify for the playoffs.
