A second-quarter surge was the difference as the Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team fell at Haverford, 19-14.
The Fords (6-3, 2-0), who have been ranked in the top 25 this season, scored six goals in the first 5:36 of the second quarter to turn a 5-3 lead into an 11-5 advantage. The Mules (7-2, 0-2) got within four goals three separate times in the remaining time but could not get any closer.
