The Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team could not climb out of an early hole and fell at Swarthmore, 18-8.

The Garnet (7-1, 1-0) led 5-0 after one quarter and 8-0 late in the half before the 18th-ranked Mules (6-3, 1-1) finally broke through. Muhlenberg got as close as five goals, 9-4, early in the third quarter, but Swarthmore scored off the ensuing faceoff to start an 8-1 run.

Senior James Dalimonte (pictured above) scored half of the Mule goals to record his 16th career hat trick. He now has 95 career goals and ranks second on the program's all-time list with 126 points.

Freshman Michael Drago won 14 of 23 faceoffs.
