Another strong second half lifted the Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team to its second straight win, 15-9 at Misericordia.
One week after outscoring Moravian 9-4 in the second half to win their opener, 19-14, the Mules went on an 8-0 run in the third and fourth quarters to come from behind against the Cougars.
Senior
Emily Gaffney and freshman
Ava Milia each scored 4 goals, while junior
Nicole Steiner netted 3 for her second straight hat trick.
Muhlenberg led 5-4 with five minutes left in the first half, but Misericordia scored the final two goals of the first half and the first of the second to open up a 7-5 lead.

Senior
Samantha Eynon assisted on goals by Steiner and junior
Lily Seifert in a span of less than a minute to give Muhlenberg a two-goal lead, 9-7, midway through the third quarter.
The score remained that way until the Mules closed out the quarter with a flurry, scoring three goals in the final 1:07. Seifert assisted junior
Ellsa Peabody for the first goal, and after draw controls by freshman
Abba Diglio and sophomore
Jillian Kubikowski, Milia netted a pair of goals 11 seconds apart.
Gaffney scored her fourth goal, tying a career best, 2:34 into the fourth quarter to cap the run and extend the Muhlenberg lead to 13-7.
Seifert tied her career high with 6 points on 2 goals and 4 assists. Milia scored her 4 goals on only 5 shots and has 9 goals in the first two games of her career.
Sophomore
Emily Vaughan had a strong all-around game, leading all players with 8 draw controls, 4 ground balls and 3 caused turnovers.
