The Muhlenberg women's basketball team was within three points at halftime but went on to lose, 56-38.
The Mules (9-11, 8-7) trailed by eight points, 22-14, with two minutes to play in the second quarter. Graduate student
Margaux Eripret scored the last five points of the half, though, to make it a three-point game.
Dickinson (13-6, 10-4), which is in a virtual tie for second place in the Centennial Conference, scored the first nine points of the third quarter to get some breathing room and held a comfortable lead for the rest of the game.
The loss left Muhlenberg in a tie for fifth place in the CC with Washington College with five games to play in the regular season. Both teams lead Swarthmore by one game and Franklin & Marshall by two in the race for the six CC playoff spots.
Eripret led the Mules with 9 points, and junior
Caroline Horst (pictured above) pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds.
