The Muhlenberg men's basketball team dropped a 66-44 decision at Johns Hopkins.
Already facing a tough assignment in a Blue Jay team that took defending national champion Christopher Newport to the wire earlier this season, the Mules had their task made more difficult when their leading scorer went down with an injury two minutes into the game.
Hopkins (4-4, 2-1) opened up a double-digit lead midway through the first half and kept the Mules (2-3, 1-2) from mounting a serious comeback effort.
Freshman
Peter Stanton-Shepherd had the best game of his young career, scoring 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting. Junior
Jayson Williams-Johnson (pictured above) led Muhlenberg with 13 points.
