Despite scoring two second-half goals, the Muhlenberg men's soccer team fell at Scranton, 3-2.
The Mules (1-1) trailed 2-0 before getting on the board less than nine minutes into the second half thanks to an outstanding effort from senior
Brandin Osborne, who took a loose ball in the box, dribbled out wide and shot across the box and inside the far post. It was the third career goal for Osborne
(pictured above).
Scranton regained its two-goal lead with 10:10 to play, and less than two minutes later Muhlenberg answered, with senior
Tarin Morris connecting on a long shot. The Mules were not able to get off a potential tying shot in the remaining time, however.
Freshman
Ben Mulford made 5 saves in his second start.
All six of Muhlenberg's goals this season have come in the second half.
