The Muhlenberg field hockey scored in each of the final three quarters and posted an impressive 3-0 win at Elizabethtown.
The Mules (2-1), who won for the second time in three days, needed overtime to win in their last trip to Elizabethtown, in 2019. This time, they held the Blue Jays (1-2) without a shot.Â
Senior
Mallory Holson netted the first two goals of the game, and the first two goals of her Muhlenberg career. Holson
(pictured above) scored her first collegiate goal as a member of the Drew field hockey team in 2018.
Freshman
Mikayla DeMichele capped the scoring by recording her first career goal with 1:22 to play in the fourth quarter.Â
The defense - including senior
Tyler Wilson, who began her college career at Elizabethtown - allowed only one penalty corner, and senior
Mel Cartagena did not have to make a save to get credit for her first career shutout.
