The Muhlenberg field hockey team wrapped up its 2021 season with a 1-0 loss at Franklin & Marshall.

The Diplomats (8-7, 4-5), who have been nationally ranked this season, scored the lone goal of the game just 6:57 in. The Mules (5-10, 3-7) had their best chance to tie early in the second half, winning two penalty corners and taking four shots in the first 1:13 of the third quarter, but were turned away and did not take another shot the rest of the game.

Of Muhlenberg's 10 losses on the season, seven were by one goal.
