The Muhlenberg women's basketball team held its second straight opponent under 40 points, defeating Bryn Mawr 71-33.
Three days after allowing only 39 points to Washington College, the Mules (4-7, 2-4) went even lower, holding the Owls (0-11, 0-7) to 22.7-percent shooting and forcing 27 turnovers. Muhlenberg also enjoyed a huge rebounding advantage (57-36), grabbing 27 offensive boards.

Sara Peretti led the Mules with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Senior

Jaelyn Swann (pictured above) scored 9 points apiece, while senior
Ashley Polera and sophomore
Mikaela McGarvey each added 8. Polera also finished with 4 assists and a career-high 5 steals.
Muhlenberg, which has never lost to Bryn Mawr in 46 all-time meetings, held the Owls without a field goal for the last half of the first quarter, turning a 6-6 tie into a 21-8 lead. The margin swelled to 20 midway through the second quarter.
