Senior
Amanda Tullo reached the career milestone of 200 points, but the Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team suffered a 16-9 loss at Swarthmore.
Tullo
(pictured above) came into the game with 198 points and wasted little time in becoming the ninth Mule to record 200. She converted a free-position attempt 1:44 into the game and added another goal 63 seconds later after stealing the ball from the Garnet goalie on a clear attempt and firing into an empty net.
Tullo scored yet again just 64 seconds after that to give Muhlenberg (7-6, 2-4) a quick 3-0 lead and finish her 29th career hat trick.
Swarthmore (10-3, 3-3) roared back with the next eight goals, however, and although the Mules closed to within two on two occasions, they could never catch up.
Tullo finished with five goals an added an assist to take a career total of 204 points into Saturday's Senior Day home game vs. Dickinson.Â
Senior
Caroline Dolan led the defense with four ground balls and five draw controls, while senior
Erin Duca caused three turnovers.Â
Junior
Jordan Segrave, who entered the game second in the Centennial Conference in saves, added 11 to her total.
