Despite a rare feat by freshman
Sara Peretti, the Muhlenberg women's basketball team fell at home to Dickinson, 70-59.
Peretti scored a career-high 22 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the field and a pair of free throws. She is the first Mule freshman to record a 20-point game without making a three-pointer since Lauren Boyle in 2006, also against Dickinson.
Peretti also pulled down 9 rebounds, just missing a double-double.
The Red Devils (1-4, 1-1) made the first field goal of the second quarter to take a 17-16 lead, and the Mules (2-4, 0-2) played from behind the rest of the game. They never got within five points in the second half.
Sophomore
Margaux Eripret (pictured above) scored 9 points for Muhlenberg.
