The Muhlenberg volleyball team hit the road for the last time in 2019 and fell at Swarthmore in three sets.

After dropping the first two sets, 25-19 and 25-18, the Mules (10-14, 3-6) staged a big comeback in the third. Trailing by nine points at 20-11, Muhlenberg went on a 9-2 run to close to within two at 22-20. 

The Garnet (15-10, 6-3), which has made the Centennial Conference playoffs the last five years, finally closed out the match with a pair of kills to take the third set, 25-21.

Senior Tara Register recorded five of her nine kills in the third set. Senior Maggie Enestvedt led Muhlenberg with 10 kills.

Junior Maya Illovsky finished with 15 digs to go over 1,200 for her career.
