Freshman Chris Richards scored his ninth goal of the season, but the Muhlenberg men's soccer team lost at Dickinson, 3-1.

Richards (pictured above) connected in the 15th minute to give the Mules (8-6-2, 1-6-1) a 1-0 lead. Sophomore Mark Walter began the scoring play with a long pass down the left side from just across the center line. Senior Matthew Athanas-Linden headed it directly to Richards, who took a few dribbles in the box and fired a shot inside the far post.

Richards is the eighth Muhlenberg freshman, and the first since 1992, to score nine goals in a season.

The Red Devils (10-6, 6-2), who are ranked ninth in the Mid-Atlantic Region, scored all three of their goals in the second half.
