The Muhlenberg men's soccer team scored one early goal and one late goal to defeat McDaniel, 2-0, on Senior Night.

The Mules (6-6-2, 2-4-1) honored their six seniors - Shaun Bartholomew, Kiefer Cundy, Noah Fulcomer, Brian Heckman, Kevin Irving and Jordan Schreer - prior to the game. The five healthy seniors started together for the first time and contributed to the win.

Fulcomer, making his first career start, opened the scoring with his first goal of the season at the 6:10 mark. Irving's corner kick was headed to the right by junior Pete Luther, and Fulcomer was there at the post to put the ball away for his third career goal - his second against McDaniel.

The majority of the game was played with a 1-0 score, but the seniors gave Muhlenberg a couple of good chances to add to the lead. Cundy hit the post with a long blast in the first half, and in the second half Schreer (who recorded his 11th career shutout) almost picked up his first career point when his long punt was collected by junior Matthew Athanas-Linden and shot just wide left.

The Mules finally got their insurance goal with 2:01 remaining when Luther slammed home a shot from inside the box for his third goal in the last four games.
