Brandon LaRose scored 21 points in the final game of his career as the Muhlenberg men's basketball team closed out its season with a 73-57 loss at McDaniel.
LaRose added team highs of eight rebounds and five assists, finishing with career totals of 856 points, 334 rebounds and 169 assists.
Two other Mule seniors ended their careers in the game.
Jon Schreer scored eight points and made a pair of three-pointers, ending up third on Muhlenberg's all-time list and tied for 17th in Centennial Conference history with 185 threes.
John Hunter blocked two shots to end with 141 career swats, good for fourth in program history.
LaRose
(pictured above) scored 16 points in the first half to lead the Mules (12-12, 7-11) to a 34-23 advantage at the break. Muhlenberg shot 52.4 percent from the field in the first 20 minutes, overcoming an early 9-0 deficit with a 12-1 run. The Mules led 19-16 before LaRose scored 10 straight points for his team, extending the margin to 29-19.
The Green Terror (12-13, 8-10) had the hot hand in the second half, shooting 51.5 percent from the field and 53.3 percent from behind the arc. Schreer made a pair of free throws to give the Mules their final lead at 49-47 with 8:06 to play, but McDaniel hit four of its next five three-point tries to pull away.

Owen McLeod scored 16 points, going 4-for-5 on three-pointers.
