The Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team could not overcome a run at the start of the second half and lost its regular-season finale at Ursinus, 14-8.
The Mules (11-5, 4-5) have a chance to continue their season in the ECAC Tournament. Bids will be announced on May 9.
Two goals by junior
Kelsey Nagle in the last 4:04 of the first half tied the game at 4-4. Muhlenberg has been a strong second-half team all season, but this time it was Ursinus that took control after halftime. The Bears (8-8, 4-5) scored five goals in the first four minutes of the second half as part of a 7-0 run that put the game out of reach.
Nagle finished with three goals for her fifth hat trick of the season. Junior
Stephanie D'Ascoli scored a goal to go along with a career-high four assists.Â

Eliza Clark scored a goal and caused three turnovers. Senior
