The early lead allowed the Mules (7-0) to play their entire roster, and all 13 players who dressed for the game scored at least one point. Freshman
Eva Sodaitis led the way with career highs of 12 points (all in the second half) and nine rebounds, and sophomore
Jess Voltaggio (pictured above) scored a career-high 10 points in only 15 minutes.
None of the Muhlenberg starters played more than 17 minutes. Sophomore
Rachel Plotke scored 10 points in 12 minutes, sophomore
Brandi Vallely recorded nine points, five assists and four steals in 17 minutes, and senior
Christina Santone needed only nine minutes to finish with eight points, seven rebounds, three blocked shots and three steals against the undersized Owls (2-6).
The Mules, ranked 16th by D3hoops.com and 20th by the WBCA, held Bryn Mawr to 19-percent shooting while blocking 10 shots and owning a 62-39 rebounding advantage.
Muhlenberg scored on each of its first eight possessions and shot 75 percent on two-pointers in opening up a 50-19 halftime lead. The Mules, who came in fourth in Division III in assists per game, were credited the 28 assists, tying for the third-highest total in team history. Freshman
Sara Dilly recorded a team-leading nine assists.
Freshmen
Meghan Falk (eight points),
Madison Mummey (seven points, three steals) and
Amanda Morello (nine rebounds) also were key contributors as Muhlenberg extended its home winning streak to 15.
The Mules are 24-3 in the year 2015 with one game remaining, Saturday at DeSales.
