Nick Lamb caught 11 passes for 172 yards, including receptions of 50 and 43 yards, to finish the season with 71 receptions – the second-highest total in program history. Junior
John Feaster made a game-high 11 tackles, and senior
Lenny Smith made nine stops, including 1½ for loss, and broke up a pass in his last game.
The Mules (8-3) trailed 7-0 with less than a minute to play in the first half when junior
Gerard Grimes blocked a punt. Muhlenberg took over at the Stevenson 39 and got on the board two plays later when junior
Nick Palladino hit Lamb in the end zone for a 26-yard touchdown pass with 8.8 seconds remaining.
The ensuing kickoff bounced off the hand of a Mustang return man and was recovered by sophomore
Amir Blair at the 16-yard line. Senior
Casey Fosbenner booted a 34-yard field goal as time expired in the first half, giving Muhlenberg a 9-7 lead.
The Mustangs (9-2) scored what proved to be the winning touchdown with 5:44 left in the third. The Mules drove inside the Stevenson 10-yard line in the final minute but were unable to come up with a touchdown.

Michael Hogan (five tackles, sack, pass breakup), junior
Mike Luby (five tackles, fumble recovery, pass breakup) and sophomore
Matt Musilli (three tackles, forced fumble) also were key contributors to the defensive effort that forced punts on 10 of 14 Stevenson possessions.
