Jon Schreer tied a career high with 22 points, going 6-for-8 on three-pointers. Sophomores
Nick Rindock and
JeanLee Baez added 12 points apiece, with Rindock adding nine rebounds and six assists.
A three-pointer by Schreer kicked off an 11-2 run early in the second half that erased an eight-point lead. After the Crusaders (3-2) went back on top, 56-54, Schreer nailed a three with 8:34 remaining to put the Mules (2-2) ahead to stay.
The lead was three, at 66-63, when Schreer drilled another triple at the 3:50 mark, igniting a game-sealing 9-0 run that included a breakaway dunk by junior
Brandon LaRose.
Sophomore
Kevin Miller scored a career-high nine points.
