Kevin Irving (pictured above) dribbled around a defender and fired a shot inside the far post for his first career goal at the 25:51 mark to give the Mules (4-7-1, 1-4) a 1-0 lead.
But the first-place Fords (11-3, 6-0), ranked fifth in the region by the NSCAA and three spots away from the D3soccer.com top 25, equalized the score a little more than four minutes later.
The rematch of the 2014 CC championship game remained deadlocked at 1-1 until Haverford converted a corner kick with just 90 seconds remaining.
