The Muhlenberg women's soccer team came from behind twice to tie Moravian, 2-2, and remain undefeated on the season.
Sophomore Jaidyn Falcone tied a school record by scoring a goal for the third straight game to start the season. Only two other players in the 35-year history of the program have netted a goal in each of the first three games.
Named Centennial Conference player of the week earlier in the day, Falcone's goal on a free kick from long distance came in the 32nd minute and equalized a goal scored by the Greyhounds in the first five minutes.
Moravian took a second one-goal lead less than two minutes later, but again the Mules (2-0-1) came back.
This time it was junior Stella Del Sordo (pictured above) netting her second career goal on a shot from just outside the box. Sophomore Delia Laverty started the sequence by winning a ball at midfield. The ball came to senior Kaela MacDougall, who passed up ahead to freshman Pia DiGregorio, who fed Del Sordo to notch an assist for the second game in a row.
Muhlenberg is undefeated through three games for the first time since 2019 and has scored at least two goals in each of its first three contests for the first time since 2008.
Following the tie, the teams went to penalty kicks to determine the winner of the Sodexo Cup, and the Greyhounds won 5-4.
