Half of the hammer throwers on the Muhlenberg track and field teams threw personal bests at the Dickinson Quad Invite.
Leading the way was freshman
Faith Fezenko, who won the women's half of the field with a heave of 96-9. Fezenko
(pictured above, throwing the discus) improved her previous best by more than 13 feet.
For the men, sophomore
Elek Ferency upped his best mark from 141-6 to 144-9, placing second. The school record, which has stood since 1985, is 148-4. Freshman
Dylan DeMagistris showed the biggest improvement, throwing 105-9 - nearly 20 feet further than he did in his first meet.Â
The rest of the Mule track and field teams had the weekend off from competition.
