Two Muhlenberg athletes - senior
Jordy Bonvini (women's lacrosse) and junior
Kristy Selby (softball) - were named Centennial Conference players of the week in their sports.
Bonvini was honored for the fourth time in her career after scoring 15 points and controlling 16 draws in a pair of Mule wins. She scored her 13 goals on only 15 shots.
Bonvini recorded a career-high 10 points on eight goals and two assists to go along with nine draw controls in a 17-11 win against Connecticut College. She added five goals in a 19-4 CC win at Bryn Mawr.
For the season, Bonvini is second in the CC with 25 goals. She ranks 10th among active Division III players with 273 career draw controls.
Selby, a first-time honoree, was 5-for-7 with two doubles and three RBI in the Mules' doubleheader split at King's. She drove in Muhlenberg's lone run in the opener and hit a two-run double in the nightcap.
Selby is hitting .326 for the season and is third on the Mules with 10 RBI - twice as many as she had in her first two seasons combined.
