The Muhlenberg volleyball team overcame a slow start with a big rally and went on to sweep FDU-Florham, 3-0, for its fifth straight win to start the season.

Kelly Tornetta led the Mule attack with 12 kills and hit .370. Sophomores
Maggie Enestvedt and
Tara Register added 7 kills apiece, and junior
Shannon Hubert finished with 32 assists, 12 digs and 5 kills in 7 attempts.

Maya Illovsky recorded 12 digs.
Muhlenberg fell into an early 12-4 hole and trailed 15-7 before beginning its comeback with a 6-0 run behind Hubert's serving. The Devils (1-1) regrouped and held a 22-19 lead later on, but the Mules reeled off the final six points to capture the set. Junior
Erica Schultz began the run with an ace, and Hubert assisted Tornetta and Enestvedt on kills before sealing the set with a kill of her own.
Register served seven straight points in the second set to give Muhlenberg an 11-6 lead en route to a 25-16 win. The third set was tied at 19 before the Mules pulled away to finish the match with a 25-22 win. Freshman
Alycia Long capped the sweep with her third kill of the set.
