We continue traveling with our athletes abroad, and this time we're going all the way to Florence, Italy, to catch up with junior Eva Sodaitis of the women's basketball team. She is a business administration major with a concentration in marketing. Here is her report on how Florence has been treating her so far.
What classes are you taking? What class is your favorite?
I am taking five classes: Art History, Love Letters of Great Men and Women, Daily Life of Physics, Communicating in Italian and Fashion Buying Strategies. My favorite class would probably have to be Communicating in Italian!
Have you visited any other countries?
Yes, so far I have been to Austria and Germany!
What made you want to go abroad?
It looked like a great experience and I wanted to be adventurous!
Since you're missing the beginning of your season, how are you preparing yourself to come back in game shape for the rest of it?
I go to the gym a couple times a week to run and squat and it also helps that we walk everywhere. The only time I use transportation is when I leave to go on trips!
Any words to your team back home?
Best of luck with the beginning of the season. I can't wait to be back on the court ballin' with all my ladies working for another CC championship!!! Love you all!!
