Five Muhlenberg wrestlers earned victories in Centennial Conference dual matches against Stevens and Merchant Marine, with freshman Quentin Bernhard's pin highlighting the day for Muhlenberg.
 
The freshman scored his sixth pin of the season in his second match of the day. Up 4-3 in the second period, Bernhard (pictured above) took down his Merchant Marine opponent and pinned him shortly after to give the Mules (9-10, 0-5 CC) a 12-6 advantage.
 
Merchant Marine however won the final seven bouts to win, 41-12.
 
The Mules scored three victories in their first match of the day, a 36-13 defeat against sixth-ranked Stevens.
 
Sophomore Gennaro Cerminara won his 18th match of the season at 197 in his first bout against Stevens. He and his opponent both reversed out of takedowns before Cerminara brought his opponent down and allowed an escape to take a 6-5 first-period advantage. Cerminara won the second period as well before scoring a four-point near-fall in the third, with riding time advantage giving Cerminara the 15-7 major decision.
 
Freshman Cam Wasson also won his match at 165 against Stevens, scoring two early takedowns and a third-period reversal while only allowing his opponent to score on a reversal in a 7-2 decision. The victory for Wasson was his fifth this season.
 
Freshmen Steven Rice and Connor McGee each won one of their two matches by forfeit to round out the Muhlenberg victories.
